As a franchisor and manufacturer of indoor sports parks, Pokiddo(Pokiddo is our franchise brand of indoor trampoline park, indoor adventure park, family entertainment center, children indoor playgrounds, soft play, etc.) has created different site types such as factory stores and shopping mall stores. To compare their customer bases and business conditions for a 2,000 square meter venue, we found the following conclusions.

We have two Sports Park stores - the Sports Park Mall Store and the Sports Park Factory Store. Even though they are both 2,000 square meters, their customer base and operating conditions differ slightly due to their locations.

The Sports Parks Mall Store spans 2,000 square meters and is situated in an old business district shopping mall. The store attracts mainly families and students, resulting in stable customer flow. As the store is located within the mall, customer flow can be controlled. Parent-child equipment and facilities dominate the Sports Parks Mall Store as families and students have higher demands for these amenities. Efficient and flexible store operation is required due to high rent costs and a one-year payback period.

The Sports Park Factory Store covers 2,000 SQM and is located in an emerging industrial zone with significant customer flow mainly constituted by young people and white-collar customers. The dynamic population of this emerging area contributes to the high customer flow. As young people and white-collar customers have diverse preferences, the Sports Park Factory Store offers a variety of equipment and facilities, catering to their needs for both exciting sports and relaxation. Due to the large customer flow and lower rent, the operating performance of this store is relatively better, with a payback period of one and a half years.

To sum up, despite the same size, geographical locations and customer needs play a vital role in the operating conditions of the Sports Park Mall Store (2,000SQM) and the Sports Park Factory Store (2,000SQM). The mall store utilizes mall traffic flow to satisfy family and student customers while the factory store attracts young people and white-collar customers with diverse equipment and facilities. These differing operating strategies have resulted in varying payback periods and store performance.
